I’m delighted to share my journey in the healthcare and aesthetics industry with you. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University in 1998 and my Master’s degree in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2003. With over 23 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner and 16 years dedicated to aesthetic practice, I am devoted to blending clinical expertise with a passion for enhancing beauty and confidence.

As a proud native of New Roads, I am deeply committed to my community and my profession. I am the ONLY aesthetic injector here at Main Street Cosmetics, so you will receive the best possible continuity of care. When I’m not at the practice, I enjoy running and cycling the streets of our town, training for long-distance runs and triathlons! I am a marathoner, triathlete, and Ironman (Half Distance)! I am a firm believer in keeping the body feeling and looking healthy as well!
I recently became a Triple Negative Breast Cancer Survivor this year (2026). Becoming the patient AND an aesthetic provider, has truly given me a unique insight on how navigate aesthetic treatment protocols for other cancer patients and survivors!

Porter Meche
Meet Porter Meche, a dedicated and skilled licensed esthetician certified through the Louisiana State Board of Cosmetology. Porter graduated in Esthiology from the Aveda Arts and Sciences Institute Lafayette in 2019, where she laid the foundation for her passion for skincare and beauty. Porter is also a Commercial Body Artist through the Louisiana Department of Health and offers Microblading, Lip Blushing, Scar Revisions and Paramedical Tatooing.
