SkinPen Microneedling

SkinPen microneedling with PRP tightens skin and boosts collagen in 3 sessions spaced 6 weeks apart. PRP treatment for hair restoration involves injecting PRP into the scalp for hair regrowth in thinning areas, typically done in 3 sessions about a month apart.

The SkinPen microneedling procedure consists of treating the face (and/or neck) with a pen device with a needle head of multiple tiny needles. This causes trauma, which stimulates the body to increase collagen stimulation while healing. This reduces fine lines, wrinkles and improves skin texture. This procedure works best in a series of 3 treatments done 6 weeks apart for optimal results.

SkinPen microneedling can also be combined with PRP (platelet-rich plasma) involves utilizing the patient's own plasma obtained through a swift blood draw. PRP contains the body's growth factors to further increase collagen stimulation and further improve results. Similar to standalone SkinPen treatments, this protocol consists of a series of 3 sessions spaced 6 weeks apart, with the possibility of additional sessions for certain individuals.
