ZO 3-Step Peel

The ZO 3-Step Peel is a professional chemical peel treatment developed by Dr. Zein Obagi and is only done in office by a provider. It is designed to exfoliate the skin, stimulate cell turnover, and improve overall skin health and appearance. The peel consists of three steps:

1. Peel Solution: This step involves the application of a blend of exfoliating ingredients to the skin to remove dead skin cells and promote cell renewal. This solution contains salicylic, lactic and trichloracetic acid (TCA).

2. Stimulating Retinol Crème: After the peel solution, a retinol crème (6%-Rx) is applied to help enhance the exfoliation process and stimulate collagen production.

3. Hydrating Crème: The final step involves applying a calming crème to soothe the skin and minimize any potential irritation or redness caused by the peel.

Overall, the ZO 3-Step Peel aims to improve skin texture, tone, and clarity, as well as reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and hyperpigmentation. It is considered a "deep" peel and will require about 10 days for complete healing.
